What it Takes to Call Yourself an Entrepreneur

"Well maybe I'll just think about it for a couple days and get back to it at that time, even though Ive researched it plenty, I still need a little time to think."

If that little sentence reminds you of yourself, then you are not, or ever will be an entrepreneur.......never. To be a true entrepreneur one must look at life differently than most regular people. When opportunity knocks, you gotta open that door. There is people who have great ideas and there is people who act on great ideas.

Taking action is a very important ingredient in the healthy diet of entrepreneurship. Must be willing to take risks. Risks can be as small as expanding your product menu by a small margin. Risks can be as big as expanding your workforce by 500%. Whatever the level of risk you are taking you must be able to understand that you can make any situation that you end up in 'workable.' What I mean by this is that the worst thing that can happen when you take a business risk is that it doesn't pan out the way you hoped.

Big deal. At each stressful junction of the process it is important to remind oneself of the finer things in life we all currently enjoy, most notably....HEALTH. When I was growing my business I would go to sleep every night thinking about how lucky I was to have my health, no matter how tough a day I had.

In life, if one continues to make risks and understands the pros and cons to each one(and is consistent with everything) then they will be not very wealthy, but rich. Money doesn't grow on trees(that would be nice) so its important to understand that being a successful entrepreneur isn't easy. You must be the trail blazer, the standard setter, the stone cold poker faced business person.

"Just do it" That is an entrepreneur.
